Travis Slingerland
I was born and raised on a farm in Southern Alberta. Growing up, I always had a passion for hunting and the outdoors. After I completed grade school, I started pursuing a Math-Ed degree at the University of Lethbridge. After two years of studying, multiple circumstances came up that resulted in me leaving the University and my studies. Taxidermy is something I always thought of doing and so I took a leap of faith and started pursuing my passion. It hasn't been an easy journey, but I'm grateful for every step of the way, and for everyone who helped me get here!
At the age of 22, I embarked on a journey that changed my life. After completing a taxidermy course in Calgary, AB, I discovered my true passion for the art of preserving animals. Growing up with a strong love for hunting and the outdoors, I found that my background knowledge greatly helped me in mounting animals with as much accuracy as possible.
I have always been fascinated by the beauty of nature and the intricate details of each animal. Taxidermy allows me to capture that beauty and preserve it for years to come. I take great pride in my work and strive to provide my clients with the highest quality of service.
One of the things that sets me apart from other taxidermists is that I do my own tanning. This allows me to offer a much faster turnaround time on my mounts, as I don't have to rely on outside sources for this process. Additionally, I am able to customize all mounts to fit any situation, whether it be for a trophy room, a museum exhibit, or a simple wall in the living room.
I believe that every hunting adventure is unique and deserves to be remembered. That's why I work closely with my clients to ensure that their mounts are exactly what they envisioned. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or a first-timer, I am here to help you create a lasting tribute to your hunting memories. Contact me today to learn more about my services and how I can help you preserve your hunting adventures.

P.S. You may be wondering what the meaning behind the name 'Timberline' is. I wanted a name that would capture nature in its entirety, without making it too complicated. Timberline fit this criteria perfectly. It does not matter what side you are on, trophies are abundant on both sides of the timberline and should be taken care of with utmost respect. Inside the timber, outside the timber, above the timber, or on the timberline itself, each creature is worth showing off.
